Now that you are all set, I will guide you through a few tips and tricks on how to get the most out of your CBD oil while mixing it in your food and drinks.

Different types of CBD oil?
Different CBD oils taste better in different types of food. If you are using a less refined oil, it may have more of a bitter taste. Look for recipes for sweets that require low heat and short or no baking time, such as brownies, truffles, chocolate cups, or peppermint creams. If you have a very refined oil, you can add it to almost any food or drink. CBD oil is very versatile - you can add it to almost anything, such as salad, dressings, or dips. Why not get really inventive, drop some in melted butter, and pour it over popcorn for a movie snack? In the end, you can enjoy our special CBD Popcorn recipe from Chef Jazz.

How to cook with CBD oil?
Whilst we can cook with CBD oil, we do not want to overheat it. If we do this, the oil will lose some of its benefits. We don’t want to treat it as a cooking oil. Keeping the CBD oil to low heat to add it to warm or cold ingredients is called infusing. The less you heat the CBD oil, the better it will work!

CBD oil in Spreads?
Add some CBD oil to your favorite peanut, almond or cashew butter before putting it on your sandwich. There is no heating involved, you are just adding the oil to your favorite spread, so you retain all the potential benefits!

Drinks & CBD oil?
Coffee & Tea: We all know that coffee and tea have their own strong flavor and numerous advantages on their own, but why not add a drop of CBD oil to your morning drink to increase these benefits further? Add whole milk, coconut oil, or butter to help you absorb the CBD. While adding fat is optional, fat increases the bioavailability of CBD oil so your body can better absorb it.

Cocktails: CBD cocktails, with or without alcohol, are all the buzz in some East and West Coast cities with relaxed recreational cannabis laws. You don’t have to take a trip to LA to enjoy the flavor and effects of a cannabis-infused beverage, though. If it’s legal in your state, you can make your own CBD cocktails at home.

You can get really creative and put CBD in your smoothie, lemonade, juice, beer, or anything liquid, really.
